Muntj Studio joined Tanween 2025 at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra), contributing to the programme through the Nawat Family collection and a dialogue around Cultural Innovation.

The participation brought together Muntj Studio’s practice in cultural product design with an exploration of how heritage can generate new forms, meanings, and possibilities within contemporary life. Through Nawat, elements of Saudi hospitality were reinterpreted through material, form, and function, while the accompanying conversation considered the broader role of design in shaping how culture is experienced and carried forward.
The participation reflects Muntj Studio’s ongoing practice of working between cultural research and contemporary design, translating local narratives into objects and experiences with relevance beyond their original context.
