Muntj Studio was presented at Downtown Design Dubai through Designed in Saudi, an initiative by the Architecture and Design Commission bringing Saudi design into dialogue with the wider international design scene.

At the centre of the presentation was Nawat, a contemporary interpretation of Saudi hospitality that draws on familiar cultural references and reconsiders them through material, form, and function.

The presentation offered an insight into Muntj Studio’s approach to cultural product design, where research into local heritage becomes a foundation for creating objects that speak to contemporary life while remaining connected to their cultural origins.

Presented in Dubai, Nawat formed part of a broader exchange around the evolving language of Saudi design and its place within the international design landscape.
